Shencare Community Transport is an accredited provider of the Community Transport Association’s MiDAS minibus driver awareness course.
This qualification is a nationally recognised standard for drivers of minibuses within local authorities and the community transport world.
How MiDAS training helps the community
By providing this training and qualification, Shencare has expanded its ability to help people train for employment opportunities in the area. Since the start of the project in April 2008, teachers and other staff from local schools, drivers from local church day centres, officers from West Midlands Police as well as all Shencare volunteers have benefited from this training.
